The group is responsible for coordinating radiation and environmental protection and for filing applications for licenses and permissions necessary under various legal norms due to the diversified range of activities of the Institute. Technical assistance basically comprises maintenance of radiation measurement devices, development of measurement methods, evaluation of personal dosemeters, monitoring of safety at workplaces and in environment, controlling radioactive emissions and compliance with all health physics regulations.
