The Laboratory of Ion Beam Applications of ATOMKI deals with the applications of atomic and nuclear physics in the fields of environmental research, biomedicine, geology, materials & surface science (including ion beam induced damage investigations and proton beam lithography) and cultural heritage research. We perform our work in the framework of various projects and collaborations: EU, IAEA, R&D, OTKA, etc. Our laboratory provides service for external (national and international) and internal users and contributes to higher education, as well.
